About CBC in Kenya
Kenya's Competency Based Education (CBE) curriculum uses proficiency levels — Exceeding Expectations (EE), Meeting Expectations (ME), Approaching Expectations (AE), and Below Expectations (BE). Senior school students choose from three pathways: STEM, Arts & Sports Science, or Social Sciences, each with approved subject combinations that determine university course eligibility.
